Oops it was on Kassian and I don't blame him one bit. Guy turns around and elbows him in the face. Brutal.

They dont kill penalties. They have been taken completely right out of this game.

Luongo has only let in 2 even strength goals, and both were deflections.

Keep in mind that Wings fans are used to getting at least a couple bogus 5 on 3 PP's every home game.

Don't worry, I'm sure that's coming in the 3rd period.

To be fair to them a huge chunk of that period was spent on the penalty kill.

Sedins are great

PP and PK are horrid

Refs are bad

Luongo is bad

Kesler diving and snapping his head back is getting very old. Its actually embarrassing.

Story of this game
Bad bounces
Bad reffing both causes Detoit goals
Causing typical Luongo meltdown if he stays in he will give up 7 plus

I think it would just throw them off now.

For whatever it's worth our PK let in 3 goals in 5 tries. As bad as reffing has been the boys should've kept the Wings to 1 conversion.

Came back with Luongo..though Schneider would start for sure.

Burrows has been terrible.

Put schneids in just to give the team a kick in the pants, please. Also, are we sure these refs aren't the vengeful spawn of auger?

Agree about the easier save selection. But this is a tendency of Luongo when having to move side to side. Not a good goal.
Exactly? From what I saw, the shot was low and that's why it bounced off Garrison's leg/skate, so he went down into butterfly. If Garrison wasn't there, that's a pad save.

Luongo has been fine. No game-savers tonight but not many he can be totally faulted on without first blaming the bad PK.
