I agree with this. I think Roy Schneider WOULD be a better coach than Sacco!

Whoa there bud. Bieber is CANADIAN first of all and second of all, while I'm not a fan of his music, there is no denying the kid is super talented. You can hate his music all you want but he's got talent for sure.
How has Larsson looked? I see he is positive with 3 assists, but haven't too much about his play since being drafted.
Sadly this happens time and time again, a player gets soo hyped in his draft year once they make into the NHL they become old news and who ever the new kid( the guy tearing up juniors) becomes the better of the two automatically.
As for his play, hit or miss really. He was a healthy scratch in their playoff run as well as earlier this year but they're pretty deep on the blue line. Nobody spectacular but everyone who knows there roll and does it to a T. Larsson has found himself back in the lineup and again he's been nothing special but not saying he's been terrible or a bust, it just takes time for defenders to break out, as we all know.

Thanks.
I remember he got scratched during the playoffs last year so I didn't get to watch him, and hadn't heard much about him since.
Pittsburgh has an underrated defensive core. It definitely isn't the best in the league, but they have a great balance of offensive and defensively ability that a lot of their defenders can play both sides of the ice.
Something ain't right--he looks like he might still be injured.
He relies on the teams defense. He plays so deep in his net that if anyone has a clear lane and any time they can beat him. Tonight, and most of this season, he has really looked out of sorts. He did make some amazing saves last year, but most of the games I watched this season he hasn't been at the same level.

IMO they're a lot like Vancouver. Lots of TWD/OFD, but no real stay at home defensemen or a true #1.

I think part of it may have been just shaking off the rust, and part of it may be another concussion. Can't believe what Andrew Shaw did to him--that should be 10 games. You don't run a goalie like that.
It was a concussion that derailed Smith's career in Tampa. It's more than just a good defensive system in front of Smith--Sean Burke did for Smith what Allaire did for Burke, change his style to best take advantage of his big frame. He may not be on the level of the Brodeurs and Lundqvists of the league, but he's a very good netminder.
If he can recover, I think he'll be fine, but it's tough for a goalie to bounce back from a concussion, if that's what it is.
Remember all that talk about how great Kassian is? He scored a couple of fluky goals early on and all the Canuck fans were drinking the koolaid. He hasn't scored in 12 games and is now back on the 4th line.
Hodgson is still playing great for the Sabres and putting up points. It's still early and power forwards take a bit longer to develop but I think that's going to go down as one of the worst trades in Canucks history.
It's starting to look like Habs last season was a blip. They're playing very well every time I see them. Price is the man, they have a very solid defense and their forwards compete very hard.
I used to hate Milbury and he still says some retarded crap, but I really like his passion for the game and is sort of insightful. Better than effin Roenick or Healy that's for sure.

Bad GM fires good coach and assistant, hires horrible interim replacement, makes panic trade for very expensive bad player, ultimately loses his job.
Having a healthy Markov in addition to Subban really helps.
