Too many times they don't call the dive, but when they do it seems its when another player from other team is getting called for something also.
I think Hartnell's diving call was just compensation for his cross-check that didn't get called, so I think we were lucky to even get out of that with both players penalized.

Yes. They were. Pierre even wore a Pens-colored tie.

I love how they spent an extended period babbling about Crosby scoring three points. Stamkos apparently gets 3 (apparently because I might have misheard) and it gets one passing comment.

It's comical. Letang has 5 adjectives for how fantastic he is.

Carle flubbed the keep-in for the Bolts and led to the Pens scoring the empty netter.

It seems it was military appreciation night, and these were to support "your heroes".

Very pretty goal, but also some horrendous goaltending. You should never get beaten by a backhand from that far away without a screen in front of you

Can anyone else not stand Chris Kunitz? I don't even think it's me hating a Penguin. The dude is the biggest visor warrior in the NHL.

Rangers fans are really seriously talking about hoping the Rangers buy out Brad Richards. I saw an article by Larry Brooks yesterday that also talked about it. What a mess that team is right now, not only with injuries but when your big guys aren't playing well and taking up a lot of cap space, that's a disaster.

I really thought Brad Richards would of been a great fit in NYC. Wasnt that his only choice when he hit the market? he didnt want to go anywhere else.

Richards was great last season (25 g 41 a). He's just part of a team-wide down season. I'm glad to see ours is not the only fanbase who goes off the deep end during a bad year.

They were expected to be the best of the league and now they're not even in playoff position. They should go off the deep end.

One point out of a playoff spot with a couple games in hand on the teams that are ahead of them. 17 games into the 48 games season and they should go off the deep end?

That's the danger of expectations, and the danger of looking for the apparent "final piece" player.

Doesn't matter how far out they are it's that they're nowhere near where they're expected to be. That's cause for concern if you're a Rags fan.

Depends what you mean by going off the deep end but they shouldn't be happy about it. They went all in this year. Don't even have a first rounder.

Agreed to an extent but you have to take a shot at it if you have the pieces in place. Like I said before they went all in and they're nowhere near where their potential is. Can't argue that Rags fans shouldn't be upset about that.

I agree about taking a shot, and the Nash deal looked like a gem for the Rangers. And, yes, they have every reason to be upset, but calling for Richards to be bought out is a real stretch.

Yeah that is a bit knee jerk'ish but every fan base has its sensationalists. Not like they or the league haven't seen a dramatic decline before. If we just had Redden, Gomez, Drury, and Roszival at the contracts they had it'd probably make me leery too lol.

That foursome would make any fanbase pretty gunshy!

They got so lucky with the Gomez trade. What a horrible Montreal move.

The rangers got incredibly lucky last year with injuries considering the style of play they have. This year it looks luck is catching up to them. Fortunately for them Girardi did not break an ankle.

They are weak down the middle , and if richards is amnestied they have no future 1st line center.

....Couturier for MDZ ?

I don't know what anyone else thinks but I would never trade Couturier to a division rival.
