Well, we're talking about an owner who gave Dipeitro a 20 year contract so I have no faith that he'll do anything but wreck that team.

Milbury gave away Luongo, Spezza, Chara, McCabe, Jokinen, Bertuzzi... that team could've been contenders for the past decade.

It's amazing how many Islanders first round draft picks look terrible (not counting Tavares of course). Okposo looks awful, Bailey almost as bad, and Niederiter is floundering in the AHL. Some of their later picks are decent, but outside of Tavares, their first round...ouch.

And Ryan Strome... Noke look's good too
Ryan O'marra, the flashy japanese forward
Nilsson in the deapest draft of the history
De haan...

Brock Nelson might be their only good prospect outside of Reinhart

Okposo (7th) is 166 in 289
Bailey (9th) is 122 in 299

That's not great but not horrible for where they went.

Their last 4 have been top fives with only Tavares in the league so far.

Niederetter
Reinhart
Strome
Tavares

They could really, really use one of Mackinnon, Jones or Druin...

Well I rather like Bailey, and think he can get better but Okposo does nothing when he's not scoring, he's been a terrible disappointment. Nino also can still be good and I'd love the Habs to trade for him while his value is low, but his attitude has been terrible.

On the other hand while I didn't like the Strome pick, he's been better than I expected and they seem to have learned their lesson from Bailey and Okposo by keeping him in the CHL.

They could definitely use a top 3 pick, especially Jones.

They've been in the basement for so damn long yet they only had ''late'' lottery picks.
Well, They got the right pick in the right year though

Annnnd we're not at the top anymore

Edit: WE'RE STILL KING OF THE HILL!!!!!!!

Generally you have to be a well respected poster who has been around and posts a lot of good, well informed posts. Not making 3 threads a day. Clean infraction history.

In my case, the ignorant plebs voted me in. They regret it now.

We've played 1 fewer game than PIT, so we're ahead since we're tied in points.
