Only way the Hawks lose in regulation is when they eventually have the "This (streak) has to end at some point" mentality during the game.

That team is not very good. How we lost to them in game 2 is beyond me.

The box score shows down 4-3, the Flames scored with 1:23 left in the 3rd to tie it up and with 1:00 to take a one-goal lead.

Off to the Coyotes board I go to view the meltdown.

You're not the first. I swear this team has more puck luck than any team this season.

I can almost guarantee we won't crush them tomorrow but I really wish we give them a backbreaking OT loss if the game is close.

Well, with the games in hand, we can afford to lose one game. I'd rather go on a big win streak though

2 games for Clowe for his little stunt against Chicago. I'm not sure how he doesn't get the mandatory 10-game suspension for jumping off the bench.

It always seems like the guy gets off easy for some low-ball moves he makes.

Because they deemed it a legal line change, that's why.

Because he still went straight after Shaw, but the difference is an ILLEGAL line change is automatic 10 games, Clowe changed legally, so it was 2 and not 10...

Watch the video, Shanahan breaks it down very well so you can understand their reasoning.

was it in the last 10 minutes, because i dont remember the last time a guy got two games for instigating a fight.

There was no fight.... Clowe got 2 minutes for Roughing and Shaw got 2 minutes for Boarding Pavelski, and it was in the final minute of the game.

The issue was Clowe line changed but the sole purpose was to go after Shaw, the issue with the hearing was to determine whether it was an illegal line change which makes it automatic 10 games, or legal and then determine the proper suspension if legal, they determined it was a legal change and made it 2 games, which means Clowe has to sit out one more game since he already missed one as a result of being suspended until the hearing today.

Homer can really pick'em. I wonder though how many times Homer has to act on orders from Snider.

Preds score their first goal in well over 2 games, lead DAL 1-0.

All the time, when Big Ed says jump, Homer says 'how high'

In the case of Bryz, the Flyers got swept by the Bruins in 2011 in the infamous 'goalie carousel' playoffs.
That was on a Friday night, in the next couple of days (it was before Sunday night) he was interviewed and was livid, redfaced and declared that this 'won't happen again. We're gonna get Bryzgalov"
Really Ed? Why don't you just open the door to the safe for his agent???
He makes all the calls...unfortunately. And until he croaks, no Cup for this town.

He also flew Bryz in on his private jet and while Philly had Bryz's rights, he bid against himself with that 9 year/NMC contract. Even worse, Holmgren never got a good backup. I swear to God if I have to see Leighton get another contract with the Flyers I will lose my mind! And then they bring Boosh in for the 14th time.

Man, that 2010 run was so much fun on one hand and so tortuous on the other because of the goaltending. That Kane goal on Leighton was horrid yet they keep bringing him back.

The fact that he does this stuff just tells me he still doesn't understand the importance of goaltending. I mean Boosh was my favorite player as a kid but even I know he's got nothing left to give.
