And my threads would get a lot more views/replies if you guys would stop moving them into other more wide range threads. I do that to keep the topic of conversation focused and them boom gone no more views lol

Nice job Phoenix... let in 2 goals in the last 2 minutes of the game and let Calgary win.

5-4 Flames. Iginla and Glencross scored 23 seconds apart in the final 90 seconds of the game

Wow. Just Wow. Why the Canucks left Luongo in net for 8 goals? If I was him, I would ask for the the Roy's request.

Good for him. He wasn't happy and was acting like a baby here and we actually got a decent return in that trade. Screw him

Then we're all happy, they got the softy and the euro goalie, we got the big winger and the 2nd pick oh and a banal throw in... Seems like 06 all over again

He's about to have a Kovalevian drop off in a year or two. The man is old, and probably wishes he was a part of Ontario's team, since they would protect him.

Just like I predicted when everyone was calling the trade a slam dunk win for the Habs earlier this season...Bourque has been trending downward the last few games and Cammalleri has been hot.

I wouldn't worry, they'll switch again (and again) before the year is over.

Edit: In Bourque's defense, his flu/illness may have affected his performance in those last few games, so we'll see if he can keep it up when he's healthy again.

Just relax. I get ignored all the time. And deservedly. It's just a hockey thread. We all love Habs. There are guys here who've been here 10 years. Sometimes they get hassled too.

It didn't matter because Cammalleri was invisible just before he was traded. My only disappointment was that we could not get a 1st round pick from the Flames for him. We should have given the Flames a little bit more in that trade to get their 1st. It would be awesome now.

Cammalleri at this point in his career is just as streaky as Bourque.

We weren't going to get this years 1st. Perhaps we could have given up something else and ate an even worse contract than Bourque's, but I don't think it would have been easy and we would have gotten last years pick. Not that I would have minded, having Teravainen in the system to go along with Collberg and Gally would be very nice.

He likely would've caught fire again if we kept him, that's just what he does. We traded a streaky player for a streaky player and for the rest of the time they're with their current teams, we'll have to hear about how we won the trade when Bourque is hot and how we lost the trade when Cammalleri is hot.

If you've been watching since 1984... that would mean you must be older than 28 or 29... Unless you've been watching since coming out of the womb.

If Bourque produces at a 50 point pace(currently 28/48 or 48/82 games)...25-30 points this year...Cammalleri would need to be at 1 PPGM or more(45-50 points) to match his value as Bourque has been solid defensively and brings size and skill to the Plekanec line. Plus, that's without mentionning his 45% lower cap hit at the other assets(Holland and 2nd rounder) we got in the deal.

Ex-Bulldogs goalie Curtis Sanford made 80 saves in the KHL.
