After running a 4.21, he's going in the first round, no chance he gets to the 2nd.

Patriots seem like a perfect fit.

I hate to bring them up, but the Packers have some really good wide receivers, so it isn't a need, but if they had a constant legitimate deep ball threat, that'd make Rodgers all that better.

With that said, they need guys that can get to the QB and a RB to play in front of Harris.

If Welker leaves, I could totally see it.

I know it's thought the Bears won't go there again...but it wouldn't shock me. Jerry Angelo is gone and Phil Emery seems to understand the importance of having a loaded receiver corps.

I think the Bears will look at Patterson, Ertz, Eifert, and Austin.

Thats why I brought it up last page. Could be an under the radar pick. Emery wants playmakers and Austin certainly is that.

Any shot we could bring in some quality offensive line help via FA if we drafted Austin with our first?

Not sure if it works cap wise, but if it does, I'd be all in favor for it. Two tall athletic freaks, one on each side, and a speed freak like him? Not to mention Forte as well? Yes, please.

I could see him going for Marques Goodwin later in the draft to be the burner. Not in the first round though.

Honestly, I think you are going to see a similar offensive line. I think they bring back Louis and Scott. Probably sign another left guard since Spencer and Rachal are gone. Maybe sign another swing tackle. The Bears just don't have a lot of money to spend.

Patterson will go top 15. Kid is good.

That's kind of the vibe I get in reading about them, unfortunately, but was hoping I was wrong.

They're going to have to restructure Peppers and Tillman. Hell, I'd trade Melton.

I'd love for them to restructure those deals. It makes a lot of sense. Especially for Tillman, I'm sure he'd love to extend his deal out 2 or 3 more years.

Te'o or Minter in the 2nd sounds like a good idea

That's ok, I wouldn't even touch Te'o in the 2nd. We don't have a 3rd, so he would have to drop to the 4th for me to take him. He's overrated and has too many off field issues for us to take him considering how many holes we need to fill.

And obviously he won't be there in the 4th.

Brady signs an extremely cap friend 3 year $27M extension.

So he'll be making half of what say Flacco or Brees will be making annually?

He knows he's getting older and probably cares more about his team winning than making money. Good for him and good for the Patriots.
