When they got rolling and Broissant starting stopping pucks, they were looking good. Keagan Lowe got pummeled by No. 22 though.

Prince George looked like garbage compared to the Oil Kings this afternoon.

Really, easy, dominant game.

Not impressed with Samuelsson's play as of late. He is hogging the puck, blowing shifts and it looks like his skating issues are back again. He looks like Dustin Penner out there.

Oil Kings are dominating this game on the shot clock but the Pats just took a 2-1 lead on the PP late in the 2nd period. Time to bear down guys.

Oil Kings drop this one to the Pats 3-2 despite outshooting them 55-16.

I can't remember the last time the Oil Kings lost a game to a cellar dweller like Regina...

Oil Kings trailing 4-2 in the third in Spokane.

Oil Kings lose 6-4. Give up two short-handed goals. Brossoit pulled in the second.

Kings are suddenly floundering. I wonder if that Prince George game made them too soft.

Laxdal had better get them out of this funk and fast. They're in trouble if they go into the playoffs playing like this.

Losing streaks happen.

Only three games. They will be fine.

Agree with Tad. This is a really good team gong through a low point.

This is the same team that won...what was it, 11 or 12 in a row. Nothing to see here, folks.

Inconsistent and lazy play has been a factor on the Oil Kings all year long. They're just so deep and talented that the laziness aspect hasn't hurt them as much as it could or should have. It will DEFINITELY hurt them come playoff time.

I'd love to see this team play the UoA Bears. Heard their goalie on the radio this morning. Yhey haven't given up a goal in over four straight games including double shutouts against Calgary this weekend. His save percentage is something like 9.38. Their goalie from last year was the top 'tender in the league and he's the backup this year! They get all of thier top six defencemen back next year.

If they played the OKs, it would be awesome and we might see a 0-0 result with those awesome defences. The Bears play Saskatchewan this weekend in the league final.

We're lucky to have two such awesome teams in this city.

Go, Oil Kings!

Bears are also guaranteed a spot in Nationals because Sask is the host.

Yes, they are. I think both teams would still like to win this weekend, though.

With the bantam draft Coming up just wondering if any one has heard rumblings on who the Oil Kings are looking at drafting. I am really hoping for David Quenneville.

He will be long gone by then. Dont expect them to trade for picks until they start missing the playoffs again.

Oil Kings up 3-0 on Seattle in the 2nd period. I'm just casually listening on the radio so I'm not sure if they're playing well or not.

In other WHL news...
