Uh... you guys are second to last in the league. Meanwhile, Semin and Boudreau are first in their respective divisions.

But Brouwer's game is better without Boudreau and Semin and thats all that matters in his world.

yeah because the caps are doing so well without those two and Semin and Boudreau have no succes at all...

Too many overpaid grinders without skill on the caps, and Brouwer is one of them

8 goals, 12 points in 17 games = no skill. sign me up to your newsletter.

A player saying his employer made the right move by letting another player go and that their current coach is better than the previous one?

I'm shocked.

And Semin is probably the easiest guy to bash in the league. He's not going to say anything back and he already has a bad reputation.

The first place team facing the last place team in a division is a "big game"?

Okay.

Just read Troy Brouwer's comments about Semin. I can say on behalf of his teammates that we love having him here, and he has been (cont)

a big part of our success so far with his consistent play and work ethic. NOT only his scoring ability. I hope he sticks it to them #canes

Maybe Faulk should challenge him to a rematch.

Brouwer should shut the **** up already. Going to the media to talk about your ex-teammates is pretty ******.

I really feel for Brouwer. First, having to play on the same team as that Benedict Arnold hack, Roman Hamrlik, AND having to deal with all of the guys who hurt the Capitals so much.

Troy - how about you worry about your own last place squad, and spend less time trying to deflect the blame to guys who haven't even been on the team this year. And while you're ripping on the previous coach I think you played under for 20 games, how about looking in the flipping mirror. That "lacksadasical" coach has his team currently 2nd overall in the NHL, and playing absolutely lights out.

Brouwer's a schmuck. He benefits from good offensive players being gone so he can get more ice time. He's a third liner with a bigger role than he deserves because players like Semin were run out of town. No wonder the Caps blow.

A guy on a last place team shouldn't be lecturing the coach of a first place team on what he supposedly does wrong. Nor should a guy on the worst team in his division be questioning the dedication of a guy on the best team in his division.

Even if Brouwer's right about this stuff, and I'm not saying he is or he isn't, he's not in a position to throw stones just now.

Okay.
Cause being behind 6(4 with a win) is such a big deal.

I hated losing Alex Semin. Brouwer needs to stop calling out teammates, past and present.

Semin is such a polarizing player in the league. These bottom-6 grinders sure seem to hate him, as if he's the only player in the league with inconsistent work ethic

He and especially Bruce seem to do pretty good after leaving that team, good for them.
