Loktionov has 3 points in 4 games since being called up by the Devils. Got his first real shot at important minutes today, and made the most of 'em. Looks like an NHLer.

Great investment for a measly 5th round pick by New Jersey. Still wish we'd have been in on him.

I read this post, then went on tsn.ca to check the score thinking that it was just an exaggeration. I wanted to do a spit take myself.

Re-watched Dallas's victory over SJ last night. After some early season shakes and an injury, Cristopher Nilstrop did a great job. I think he'll be a good goalie in this league. Another overaged (29) import like Fasth. Not on Fasth's level so far but he belongs. Nice story and smart thinking by Dallas management to bring Nilstorp in the mix to cushion the inevitable Lehtonen injury.

I understand where you're coming from, but at the end of the day we'd be in the same position as LA.

Is Loktionov really any better than Z-Bad, JOB, Regin, Grant and Da Costa? Spezza, Smith and Turris have three of our centre spots locked down. Even with injuries, we have MORE than enough Centres

If he's not going to displace any of our current prospects, then why waste the pick? We can find a good player in the draft with the 5th rounder, especially the way that Brian Murray has been lighting it up.

Now, if it was a good RW prospect hitting the waiver wire like...say....Grabner did a couple years ago...

lu8ngo?

wow. Talk about a huge blemish on an otherwise great season for him. If he struggles even a bit in his next game, the whole vancouver goalie controversy starts up again.

i didnt watch the game, but looking at the boxscore, i have to wonder why he wasnt pulled after the 2nd period.

Wow, beauty set up by Getzlaf & beauty tip-in by Perry in OT tonight.

Also: how 'bout the Flames? Two goals in the final 1:30 to tie the game and then go up 5-4!

Luongo seems to have learned he doesn't handle pressure well

Good for him, he seems like a really nice guy but he was so easy to hate back in 2011

He's come out and said he didnt handle the media well against the Bruins. I think he learned a lot from that situation.

Kind of funny to look back at all the people loving Timmy T and hating Lou. How things have changed.

The best part about the Senators` win tonight (thanks to Bishop) is just how much more pissed off the Habs are going to be when they face the Leafs in Toronto on Wednesday, especially after getting owned in their last matchup.

I hope the Leafs are ready for that game.
