I love that Doughty is a little outspoken. He's right too.

Seriously... what a bunch of sensetive susies. I read their board and some of them are also implying that Stoll intentionally hurt Fowler. It looked like an accident to me but everyone knows Stoll has a nasty reputation.

And lol at them dressing Brad Staubitz as some sort of deterrent. To you Ducky fans reading this, here is big bad Brad Staubitz in action:

Nice to see Doughty outspoken, we really should be doing better. But I want to see him back that statement with some solid play, then the goals will start coming...

It's quite dumb. Do the trash talking after the game not before. Both teams are solid right now, did I just type that, and no need to give them an added boost.

No, Ducks fan. You will never have bragging rights. Your fan base is just way too small. We are LA. You're ****ing Anaheim. Now you can go back pretending that the Ducks being the first California team to win the Cup is a big deal to SoCal sports, small-time.

I dont think its dumb, its how rivalries are made. I like it. I hate all the passive crap. Its a rivalry not a gentlemen meeting.

The Kings and Ducks wouldn't have a real seething rivalry until the teams meet in the playoffs.

The Ducks' forwards are not going to sustain their current shooting percentage. When the shooting percentages regress to the mean (especially for their secondary scorers), they will start losing some games.

Tonight would be a good time for that regression to the mean to start.

Fasth is kind of small. Any teams try getting in his grill yet?

Pretty much, but atleast a little, just a little bad blood can go a long way.

Also, Perro, let them say what they want, it's their GDT, nothing you can say to make them change their mind lol.

Ducks fans be chirpiiiiiinnnnnnnn'

Hopefully we can get back to kicking their ass tonight. I'd like to send that franchise back into obscurity where it belongs.

I agree in general, but give them a little credit. They have some skilled forwards, a hot goaltender, and they've done a good job drafting IMO.

Boudreau's system has done very well in the regular season, so the Ducks success shouldn't really come as surprise. If they make it past the 1st round of playoffs, then I'll be surprised.

I am fine with giving them credit, but I am sure you recognize that the following guys aren't going to maintain their current shooting percentages:

Koivu 21.1%

Winnik 13.2%

Cogliano 21.1%

Bonino 21.1%

Palmeri 12.5%

Beleskey 15.8%

These guys don't shoot that well in their dreams. The Ducks have tightened up their defense a bit this season though. Compare some of those names to Jeff Carter, who is a legit sniper and is currently shooting a lofty 19.1%

A few, but he doesn't seem like he's easily shaken. But it's only been 8 games, so it's a bit early.

You're right about everyone there but Palmieri. He is a sniper.

Anyways, good luck tonight, guys.

I expect one of these will be the NHL.com headline tonight:
Kings too Quick for Fasth
Kings too Quick for Ducks
Ducks too Fasth for Quick
Ducks too Fasth for Kings

Just so you know... you come across as having a bit of a complex here. Bragging rights are earned on the ice. It has nothing to do with where the team is located. Both teams have a Cup, and the Kings are the defending champs. It's a new season now, and we'll see how things go.

You missed the post he was replying to. A Ducks fan came in here acting like an ass and got his post deleted.

No prob. The PDO/CSP is a little wonky with the small sample size.

Any chance that Pearson or Toffoli get a look this year?
