Cammalleri is a streaky scorer who's very deadly. His shot always makes him a threat for that odd goal here and there.
Bourque, when he's on his streak isn't as good as Cammalleri and doesn't have the same shot, but he's got size and when he's not scoring, he can still be effective. There's a reason he can play on the pk.
If Bourque produces at a 50 point pace(currently 28/48 or 48/82 games)...25-30 points this year...Cammalleri would need to be at 1 PPGM or more(45-50 points) to match his value as Bourque has been solid defensively and brings size and skill to the Plekanec line. Plus, that's without mentionning his 45% lower cap hit at the other assets(Holland and 2nd rounder) we got in the deal.
And he's not a whiner with a bad attitude who wants to be captain.
I don't think Plekanec wants to be captain. I don't know personally, I just get the feeling from how he acts and how the 'A' goes to and from him so much that he is a leader, but doesn't look to be THE leader.
For all of Holmgren's "balls" his defense and goaltending is looking pretty putrid. He is in the Brian Burke area code of overrated GM's. Mopst of his success is based on some good drafting, where he wasn't even GM(Giroux, Carter, Richards).
Oilers have a brutally bad defence, easily worst in the league. Looks like Nashville wins again, I guess they aren't missing Akost and Radulov THAT much eh guys?
patrick kane is an unreal talent. him and hossa on the wings, fff. that's deep.
They don't have center depth though, and I thought according to this board skilled wingers don't matter as long as you have a ton of big centers.

You do realize offence starts with your defence right? Those GA stats have more to do with the goaltending than the defence.
Whitney, Smid, SchultzX2, Petry, Peckham, Potter and superstar Fistric.
Just a brutal defence, half don't even belong in the NHL.
Those stats are Nashville, and I agree that Rinne is probably the best goalie in the game, the point being that the team could be a contender with Radulov, and this is coming from a Radulov hater.
The Oilers are another story, I can't believe a team could be bad for that long and only have decent defensive prospects in Schultz and Klefbom out of it.

Devan Dubnyk is the Jose Theodore of Edmonton.
If they make the playoffs, he is top ten for the Hart imo.

Or Radulov could be a drama queen that he has always been and cause problems on a team that has been very successful the last 3 years without him. I think a hard working team that works together will always outproduce a team with headcases.
Oilers have terrible drafting outside of their top picks. Go back something like 10 years and they have picked almost no one worth mentioning outside of the 1st round. I don't know how long Stu Mcgregor has been there but he needs to get fired.
