Probably one of the few things you could take notes on from our team.

Watching this game so far shows me that the no regulation losses thing is not a fluke. Still hoping we're the ones the break that streak though.

I know the hawks are tired and due to lose but EDM plays with great confidense against us.
Chicago gives them too much respect. Go right at them. Force them into quick decisions. Chicago plays too tenatively defensively against them and they give up their blueline too easily.

You can't play run and gun against Edmonton and not pay occasionally. They are giving the Oil respect because they earned it last year. Great game so far. Will be a decent rivalry in a few years.

Saad has looked awesome!

Toews and Sharp need to start putting some pucks in the net. Sharp especially. These games are the ones where we need our money guys to step up.

15 and 14 points a piece, respectively. They could be producing more but it says a lot that they're still only a few points under PPG and they've been invisible for stretches.

I'm not saying Chicago should play run-and-gun against them.. I'm saying Chicago should go right at them defensively. Challenge them at the line, have small gaps.. don't concede any part of the neutral zone and then when you force turnovers, get on them quickly.

edm has only scored 20es goals this year. there's a reason for that. we need to challenge them more

Sharp has mainly rode Kane's coat tails - looking at his point total to evaluate his play is giving him too much credit

I'm not saying Sharp's been playing great.. but he has been snake bitten. Q should think about switching up Hossa and Kane. Give the #1 line a better puck distrubuter and give the second line a horse to win battles and create space for Sharp.

A run and gun game with the Hawks showing up favors us greatly.

Why is Toews just spinning around whipping passes into the boards when he has time?
