It's like the boards just opened up today and Habs fans can finally talk amongst themselves from across the world.

Subban
McDonagh
Pacioretty
Gallagher
Galenchyuk
Price
You've got 5 stars/future stars in that group, most like at least 2 future superstars. Hard to argue results like that.

To be honest, since he scored big in 2007 his picks have been somewhat underwhelming. 2008 and 2009 have been extremely weak. Too early to judge 2010 to present. Galchenyuk was an obvious pick. He found a good one in Gallagher.

Meh. It's a better story than if it was Bob Barker.

At #3? He was too the obvious pick. He was the only forward available to boot.

Monday morning quarterback obvious?
Cuz after the 1st two, it was wide open and Galchenyuk had just missed a season.
So tell me again.......

Galchenyuk is only obvious to most of us in hindsight.
At the time it was a subject of vigorous debate on the forum.
