Eber will not be signed either after his trial ended.

FYI we should get complete salary information from the MLSPA in mid may.

The Transfer window opens in late June,

More than enough time for rampant speculation

Apparently we are not signing our other first rounder... Does that mean we lose his rights ?

I think we'll be playing in front of 67 000 Seattle fans next week. This won't be easy. I predict a 2-1 win for Seattle with a late goal.

Nope keeping it for a couple of years (1 or 2).

As for Seattle's turf, hopefully Nesta's knees don't collapse. The crowd won't do anything to our squad though. Our players that need to have big games for us to pull out a result (Nesta, Ferrari & Di Vaio) all are no strangers to big crowds. Especially since Seattle & Portland are known to be the loudest crowds in the MLS, I can assure you that It is nothing compared to what Matteo Ferrari had in Turkey. Can't comment on Italian crowds though, haven't watched enough

1-1 or 0-0 Draw would be perfect.

Not that it makes it much easier, but im pretty sure the opener is capped at 38,500.

The upper decks are only open for 4 games all season. Portland, Vancouver, LA, and another, maybe NY.

I really wonder how much we'll get. You'd think they would be more popular than last year, and somehow they got 58,000 in a new league against no name opposition.

This year, with toronto as opponents, a better known group of players and hopefully better marketing, I would have to think they'll approach, if not reach, a sellout.

But for the moment it looks like you can't even buy upper bowl tickets, so they are probably not close to sellout out the lower sections yet.

We should know in the next couple of days who's going to be signed from the Academy. Also if we're over the cap a trade will have to happen before Friday.

For the Academy guy, it's between Tissot and Lefebvre although Lefebvre hasn't been that good but Tissot would be a surplus as a LB.

I could see Iapichino being waived or Valentin traded to make room fir Tissot. Not necessarily now but maybe during the season.

They might sign both Lefèvre and Tissot. We are at 23 contracts, we have more than enough room.

And we should know tomorrow. The Impact said they would announce the final roster at the same time as the new jersey.

I'm also surprised that Ilcu wasnt given a chance in the friendly games and the fact that we didnt try to sign a striker. They probably rely on Nyassi and Pisanu to fill in case of injuries but a 3rd pure striker would have been nice to have.

I could see Tissot and Lefebvre both being signed. As long as there is room it is good to try and promote local talent as well as having some depth. They need enough players for the reserve games as well.

There is a very important game for our Team Canada U-20 boys tonight. If they win against the US they'll play at the World Cup in Turkey.

Samuel Piette had an incredible game against Nicaragua.

Yup, BOTH tissot and Lefevre got signed today.

And it looks like there has been some issue with Stuver, he might not get signed, though no details have been released yet.

If Crepeau and Canada lose tonight, he might very possibly get signed as third keeper.

Yep, here's the official news: http://www.impactmontreal.com/fr/new...layers-academy

What's the issue with Stuver though? I think they'd rather sign a no-name from NASL than signing Crepeau not to play any game with the 1st team.

The Impact said that he went back home to take care of some things. My understanding of the situation is that he'll get signed and he went back home to pick up a few things.

I'm happy that we signed both Tissot and Lefèvre. Both could end up seeing good playing time since we aren't that strong at DM and LB. Brovsky is great defensively, but Schallibaum wants more attack from the side defenders and Brovsky isn't that great at it, Tissot might get a shot if Iapichino struggles in that role. Lefèvre saw plenty of playing time during training camp, so I'd expect him to get a chance to show that he can be a starter. In the end, both these locals could end up as important players down the road. Very happy about these signings!

Wait, I just noticed something. Here's a quote from the end of the article:

Quote:
L’équipe disputera son premier match de la saison ce samedi à 22h30 HE à Seattle (TVA Sports, 98,5FM, CJAD 800)
Did they announce that the games will be broadcasted on the radio?

I'm glad two more players from the Academy were signed. It means the Academy is doing his job.

The new jersey looks pretty interesting.

For anyone who missed it, the whole thing was leaked a few months back:

I don't have a jersey yet, so I might consider this one.
