The other team isn't heading towards them. The Hawks' breakout uses the other team's momentum against them because they move the puck so quickly.

The demons of Edmonton have been taken to the back alley and murdered with a baseball bat.

They beat Edmonton 6-3 in the first game last year and went on to get **** on pretty much the rest of the way. Different team this year, but Edmonton's capable of puttnig up alot of goals if Chicago sleeps on them.

Glad they won tonight! BUT.. is anyone else worried about the PP? 2nd game where they can't get anything going, constantly trying to set up.

I agree- AINEC. Then again, I might have some proxy Carcillo-fatigue, on account of some bad carry-over memories in Philly.

Carcillo was hammering people, how did Eager or someone on Edmonton not take him on?

No idea, he was being almost daring them to come after him.

Keith played a bit less than 17 minutes... injured or getting benched for poor play? Didn't see him very much in the third.

Because Edmonton makes us look tough. Team is Charmin soft. Eager is only a tough guy against big guys that don't play physical. Surprised he didn't try and go with Stalberg to be honest.

The 3 games we lost were during a Shootout which is like a breakaway competition and they didn't come during the actual game of play. If we had lost one of them in OT I would call it 18-1 but since not I say 19-0.

It's looking more and more like the 2010 team every game. Not sure if that's a good thing or bad.

Right, but Chicago didn't win those games so you can't say 19-0. The best way to look at it is that Chicago is undefeated (16 wins, 3 "ties") in regulation/OT, but not 19-0.

Over the last 9 games, Hawks have outshot their opps 303-232

If anything they've just got better since the season started (of course playing at home helps that)

Nope. All of CHI's "losses" are in the SO.

Against Minny, Van and Anaheim.
