Finally. I could not stand Bart Scott. He helped epitomize the circus that the Jets became over the last two seasons. Guy was a lazy bum this season anyway.

The Jets made the 4 easy cuts. Scott. Pace. Jason Smith. Eric Smith. The Jets have a lot of trash to move out but they are stuck with them for another season. Idzik needs to take out the wrecking ball but can't. Trading Revis is next.

His stock continues to drop.
Will he fall to the Giants? If he does, would they take him? I say... yes, no.

He could fall out of the first, even.

40's are unbelievably overrated, **** Jerry Rice ran a 4.7something, put pads on the guys at the combine.

eh i dont know if i really want the giants taking te'o. he really doesnt seem all that explosive plus he does'nt seem to be a very good tackler. the giants already have enough slow, bad tackling linebackers.

I wouldnt grab him too high.
It's a really deep secondary draft. Oline and Secondary should be the focal points, and address LB and DL in FA.

Oh, I definitely agree with this. Plus, it takes 0 consideration of a player's maneuverability.

Giants locked up Beatty on a 5 year deal, they just need to cut Diehl, Webster, add a ton of line help and secondary help, and a MLB, etc.

Re-signing Beatty is HUGE. And it's a relatively cheap deal for what he brings. Unbelievable deal.

Back in the day, we weren't seeing 4.2 40s, though. So Rice's 40 wasn't terrible or anything. Completely different game, completely different speed.

"If it’s a money issue, that temptation would come in," Beatty said. "But having this be my home team, I really didn’t want to go into free agency. This is the team that wanted me from college. This is the team that gave me my first chance. This team went to the Super Bowl. I saw so many great moments with this team and there are still so many more to come."

Willy B is the man and will be a top tier LT in the league for years to come.
Now let's just get him a supporting cast. Hopefully Brewer finally steps up so we have some competence on the right side, too.

Brewer is ridiculously talented. I have to think that they have groomed him enough, now.

great to hear that quote from beatty, really refreshing to hear a guy want to play the game, for a hometown team, and a great organization and not nickle and dime them the whole way. Some of these guys now a days only care about money, playing the game comes second
