Anyone else get the feeling that TSN reporters love Methot? It seems like every "Senators post-game reaction" that they put up features Methot, almost moreso than Alfie.

He's pretty well spoken in the interviews, so maybe that's why, but at the same time Greening has to be one of the most well spoken players in the league, and you rarely see him interviewed.

Foligno is a decent player, but he is what he is. A third line grinder that can contribute now and then.

Many have been blinded by his 47 point season, which was HEAVY on assists.

Trading him was the right move.

To be honest, he's one of the few vets left on this team right now. And I use the term "veteran" loosely.

Gonchar and Michalek rarely do post-game interviews, so you really only have Alfie, Neiler, and... Turris (who seems shy) left? Andrerson when he's healthy. Not a whole lot of go-to guys for post-game comments.

Most of the other kids here haven't even been in the league two full years yet.

did he get his assists by gaining the puck from the corners?

Is it just me or does Phillips seem to hate being interviewed? He just always seems like he's doing a chore when he steps in front of the camera lol.

Wow, Methot is by far the best defenceman on this team right now.

I thought he would regress tremendously without EK beside him, but I have no idea what we'd do without him.

Without Methot and our goalies I hazard a guess that we'd be close to the bottom in the standings.

I'd still like to see this guy get some more credit, he's been a rock. He played 27 minutes against the Rangers, the most on the team, MaClean rolls him out there in any situation.

Nice player, happy he's here.

He's perfected the belly slide through the slot on the PK. It's hilariously effective.

Yeah I think that's a direct reference to the usual ridiculousness from the usual person in another thread.

Is the '4th defenceman' not a known joke on here by now? The lockout left us rusty.

What gets me is I can't think of a single mistake he's made. Just solid mistake free defense. Murray found a match made in heaven for Karlsson.

I herd through the rumor mill that he once had regular fries with his burger, instead of upgrading to the sweet potato fries with chipotle dip.

I can't forgive that kind of mistake. Inexcusable rookie error, IMO.

I can. Can't recall who it was against though. Bad chipout that led to a goal against. That's the only one that somewhat sticks in my head. Otherwise he's been money.
