You mean he's actually getting top six minutes and powerplay time, AND HE'S PRODUCING?!
Color me shocked!
He could have been a good second line winger for us if Lemaire would have given him a shot.
Two words; Devin Setoguchi. It's just who you play with. Pouliot is a head case.
Here's the thing: Points leader? Steven Stamkos. Goals leader? Steven Stamkos. Assists? Martin St. Louis. They are leading the league in goals per game.
Pouliot is just benefiting from playing on a super stacked team.

With center Nicklas Backstrom missing Monday’s practice because of an injury and left wing Jason Chimera leaving that session early because of a lower body injury, the Caps found it necessary to put out a call for Wellman.
Despite Seto's history of being inconsistent, I would still take him over that slob Pouliot. Unless that dude really pulls himself together, which I doubt he ever will, hel'l always be a parasite, just living off the work of others. Put him in a situation where he has to constantly make his own opportunities and he'll fail, again.
Just noticed that Benoit Pouliot has more points than any Wild player this season.
It took a while, but maybe Benny is finally showing he was worthy of that 4th overall.

Pouliot has been a pretty effective player. He had earned the upgrade into their top-6.

You can say the same thing with Seto.
Fed off Marleau and Thornton, failed when he's the best player on his line.

This is true to some extent, but Seto at least is a consistent 20+ goal scorer. I have also liked his more physical play this year, and really do believe that he at least tries, even when he is not scoring.
Pouliot doesn't provide anything when he is not scoring. He also floats a lot, and I really really hate players that do that.
The Coyotes look so solid in their own zone. They always get a stick in the passing lane...
Edit: funny thing, just after I posted this, the Yotes again get a stick in the lane, break up another offensive zone opportunity by the Nucks, and the Yote's announcer basically says the same as I just did, then mentioned it was something lacking in their play recently.
