Borrrrrrring,
0-0
12-14 shots
canceled SO after 32 rounds.
Lessons learned - play defence and hope for offence.
Not the other way around

Messier can be the special teams coach. Our new pp drills will consists solely of taking runs at a prone Trevor Linden, and then rabidly clawing at the C on the jersey while crapping on a dead man's grave.

edit: oh yeah, and to top it all off...practicing the drop pass

Last time these two teams played, the Coyotes won by a surprising score of 5-4.

May seem like a trap game, but we could always be in for a surprise.

Too bad Bieksa's not back, but hopefully he can get to 100% soon.

IIRC the game opened up due to some early scoring that forced the coyotes into an offensive style. That's the thing about playing teams like Nashville and Phoenix, if you get the lead on them, they can't play shut down defensive mode anymore and you actually get to see some entertaining hockey.

We usually come out in the losing end in types of games like that.

When did the Isles pick up Thornton?

I didn't know Kesler played for Long Island on his off nights.

Would have loved to see the Canucks play the Penguins, Flyers, Rangers, etc.

Anything is better than playing teams like the Minnesota Wild 6 freaking times. But it is a shortened season, and might as well be more familiar with our own conference.

That gif is a little misleading. You can see him take a pretty good whack on the ankle before the stick comes up and hits him in the ass. If it's in the right spot, even a one hander can hurt like hell. I swear, all these slo-mo replays are making everything look ridiculous.

Who is that?

It's Steve Staios. This gif will be more exciting than this PHX game.
