Not sure if this stat is telling of how we often have players that produce better elsewhere or just that its being 2nd in goals and 4th in points on a **** team. Its not as if he would be able to do that here. Hes also averaging 16 minutes a game. No way that would happen here.
I'd say the impressive part is his +/- rating.
On a 14th seed - that's damn impressive.

I believe he's on the 2nd line, which he wouldn't be here, but I didn't mind him on the 4th line here

His On-Ice Shooting Percentage is 10.78 and his On Ice Save Percentage is .955. When those come back to earth, so will his +/-.

Its a short season, there is going to be some weird stuff going on. Less so as we wear on, but 48 games won't really expose streakiness the way an 82 game schedule does. I will say, we missed the boat on PA Parenteau. Johnny M I am not so certain. He was a good 4th liiner for us, and now we have Powe filling a similar role.

Remember how Voros started for us in 08-09.

agreed. why in god's name would you play bickel over kreider? what does kreider gain from this? kreider with 2 broken feet is more useful than bickel.

But Bickel provides so much JAM!!!

Actually, he doesn't even do that. Is his job to look like he's playing professional hockey for the first time in his life? Because that's what he looks like every time he's on the ice.

Don't know about firing him, but it's a stupid decision.

They are mishandling Kreider.

He was one of our best players on Saturday night. He was hounding the puck. Which is exactly what they asked him to do. He was skating hard. He was using his body. The team didn't score, and you couldn't ask for much more then the effort he gave on every shift. He wasn't on the ice for a goal against.

Then he gets rewarded with a scratch, in favor of Bickel, against a mediocre team.

Makes. No. Sense.

Have to agree. Heres a team whos struggling to score, and he takes out a guy whos got 10X the ability then Bickel has. I didnt see enough inconsistencies in Kreids game defensively to warrant it either.

This really is mismanagement. Send him down or play him. Stop ****ing with his head.

You could be gone years and then come back and not miss a beat. The only thing that ever changes in Rangerland are the names.
