Boston/Pittsburgh/NY seem to really like the idea of Mike Weaver on the cheap. I'd really hate to see him go to any of those places, he'd have impact many times his cost of acquisition as a bottom pairing + PK stabilizer.

I remember reading about Weiss might waive his clause for TOR/DET because his family is there. But with the new alignment proposal (where FLA, DET, TOR are all in same division) I don't think panthers will trade him to them
Why would we have any desire for Theodore? He's been terrible this season whereas our goalies are 6th and 7th in SV% out of goalies that have played 10 games.
I would say if a team wanted him, it would be a "future considerations" return to save the Panthers money, a conditional 7th if Kovalev scored 10 goals after the trade deadline.
i personally dont see campbell going anywhere, he's our best D and runs everything back there, he's probably the biggest part of the success we had last season imo, having a guy like him back there made a hugeeee difference. and i know hes really expensive but losing him would hurt a lot, and no way he gets bought out (i saw that floating around on this site). same thing goes with fleischmann, he was our best forward last season, leads the team in points this season, hasnt been playing bad. actually, at first he was the only one doing anything. weiss started off horrendous, then missed some games due to injury, and since hes been back hes continued to not do anything, versteeg hasnt been effective yet in the games hes been in and now is injured (but close to returning). people wanna sign weiss for over 5per and flash is only making 4.5 for what he brings and we need to unload that? no way he gets traded unless we got some insane return obviously, but i dont know why i keep hearing like oh, hes so gonna get traded, makes no sense to me.
Campbell would be hard to fit under the cap. Well, Florida could take some cap but the price would increase. And as it is imo, D isn't their problem. On paper .

He's one of those players who isn't worth much in a trade, but worth a lot on the ice. He brings stability and FO wins to the 4th line, and a LOT of effort. I'd rather hang on to him and re-sign him than trade for a low pick, but that's just me
