Names that gets thrown around are bouchard, cullen, and seto. Dont see any of them as much better than gagne, and they wont come for a 4th rounder either
What!? There are other teams in the West than the Wild!?

Gagne is not the solushun, just a precusor to something bigger IMO. Someone he can plug in on the PP or play limited minutes in certain situations. Holgren is just getting warmed up. Trading for Gagne, he's only about "1/5th Holmgren" right now... we've yet to see "Full Holmgren". In his own deranged mind, he wants Gagne on the team this year "when they win the Cup" so he can "Go out a Flyer and Cup champion like he was supposed to".

Can someone tell me what we would realistically have to give up for Perry at the deadline? Any idea at all.

At this rate the Ducks are making the playoffs, so they are keeping Perry.

Would Shero have any interest in Danny Briere? He is signed at $6.5 per through 14-15. Its looking more probable the Flyers will miss the playoffs this year.

The flyers arent trading with the pens. And that contract is a bit of an albatross, specially in two years when we need Malkin and Letang extentions.

As for Perry, Lebrun thinks he might be traded no matter where they are in the standings if they arent able to resign him.

I was thinking along those lines as well. But after seeing how Parise and Suter situations played out ie. letting them walk for nothing. There is a chance the Ducks mgmt decides to play it safe, especially if Getzlaf gets locked up.

I don't see the pens and flyers making a deal unless Holmgren pulls another fast one over Shero in a very minor deal like the Hamhuis deal.

A fast one? You are cray if you think Shero got douped into a bad trade for a guy he wanted, thought he would get...all in all...glad we didn't get him

OK. Just thought maybe Shero would see Briere's offense as the missing piece to the Pens winning the Cup in the next two years. The Flyers would want one of your prospects on the Blue Line in return.

That pick he traded to Philly is a Penguins prospect anyways. I think that's cool how that worked.

Go back and tell him we'll give him Tyler Kennedy and a signed Crosby puck!

Just to backtrack and piggyback off of an earlier topic: if BB is the top-6 winger of the present, then I hope he's glued to the top-6 when EvGeno gets back so that Shero knows whether or not he's the soloshun. If he is, then okay, one top-6 guy it is.

Glad shero didn't do a move like this to me its just wasting cap room. BTW since allot of u talk **** on shero for not signing Semin here is a quote from his former teammate Troy Brouwer. I'd rather have TK on this team then Semin and i hate TK

When asked if Semin’s unpredictable play and inconsistency was frustrating as a teammate, Brouwer went even further.

(Mike Carlson/Associated Press)

“Some nights you didn’t even know if he was gonna come to the rink,” Brouwer said. “It’s tough to play alongside guys like those because you don’t know what you’re gonna get out of ‘em.”

I wonder how many more people Brouwer is going to throw under the bus this year.

Hamrlik, Semin and Boudreau so far.

Nope.

Shero needs to be on the phone with Calgary.
