Punk and Cena really do bring out the best of each other and it's beautiful to watch.

Brock had to have staples put in his head.

Says a lot about how out of touch Vince is that he's sick of punk-cena. That was match of the year so far imo.

A Barrett-Sheamus feud could be very interesting. I really liked Barrett's work on the mic last night as he played up how famous he's going to be after his movie premieres. I know Barrett is the IC champ but he really needs a strong push in the near future with a MITB win or a program where he challenges for one of the World titles.

I highly doubt Vince was mad. You don't perform something like that without running it through the boss first, even if you're one of the top guys.

I could see Punk doing it without approval. I mean, what's Vince going to do, take him off the Wrestlemania card?

Brad Maddox is great. Just saw that backstage segment again. Just great.

I doubt Punk is that stupid though. If one thing went wrong, Cena would have been spiked on his head and have a broken neck just six weeks before Wrestlemania. Not good.

Vince McMahon reportedly "blew a gasket" backstage at RAW last night during the CM Punk vs. John Cena main event. Word is that Vince got upset when Punk hit Cena with a piledriver, which is a banned move when done the way Punk did it. Vince was upset with Cena and Punk but because it was them, there will likely be no serious punishment.

Punk had to have at least talked to Cena about the piledriver beforehand. For such a risky move that isn't used anymore, it's probably a good idea to go over it with the guy whose head you'll be dropping all his weight on.

He must have talked to Cena about it. That doesn't mean he talked to McMahon about it.

The loaded WWE Raw episode on Monday, February 25 scored a 3.46 rating, up five percent from last week's 3.30 rating for the post-Elimination Chamber PPV episode.

Within the show, Raw's third hour (John Cena vs. C.M. Punk) scored the highest in adults 18-49 and males 18-34. For males 18-49, the second hour was highest-rated, followed by the third hour and first hour.

Analysis from Caldwell of PWTorch
Quote:
It's also interesting to note how the three-hour Raw Era's patten has unfolded: WWE is drawing a broader, family-oriented audience at 8:00 p.m. EST, then there is a mixture in the second hour, and the third hour is predominantly adult males after the kids and families start to fall off. The loss of families and younger demo in the third hour keeps the pattern going of third hour viewership declining nearly every week, but if WWE gives adult males something to look forward to in the third hour, WWE is making up for the overall audience loss by keeping the key adult male demo strong.
I know for a fact my 12 year old cousin watches the first two hours before going to bed for school the next day and catching the third hour in a re-run or youtube while myself and my cousin watch all the way through.

You know what, that 12 minute segment of Brock/HHH actually got me excited to see where this goes. It won't be anything like their first match at all. I'd be pretty damn happy if it happened in the Cell. I watched it again when I got home and Brock just epitomizes what a Bad Ass really is.

Would Cena/Rock in a Ladder Match make some sense as Rocky's shape is in question? That way a ladder spot and sitting around can happen? I am just spitballin' here.

Maybe at Extreme Rules, but even then, I'd see a LMS match more likely than Ladder considering its Cena and Rock.

On an unrelated note, looks like the Game had an "accident" last night.
