Good pickup by MTL. Ryder would have been nice to have back. What do you guys think about going big and going after Cory Perry, and signing him to a deal as well after we pick him up. There is some speculation he might be on the move. What would it cost us to acquire him? My guess is it would start with Horton...Would be an offensive boost and playoff sniper for sure for the B's or do you think we should just stick to looking for a solid 3rd line winger?

any chance a byufglien is on the market if winnipeg goes south. i would give away something in our bottom 6 forwards or last d pair for him along with 1st round pick and spooner

Byufglien is horrible defensively. Class A Roamer,, pays zero attention to play in his own zone, and I won't even get into his training habits (or lack of). I'd stay FAR away from that big galloot.

put him back up front on third or second line. solves offensive problems. he could fit this system. winnepeg doesn't have a system. he was big piece in winning a cup for chicago and we would be a really large team up front and on the back
