I thought they had a bunch of free cap space with the Thomas move? Isn't Savard on LTIR?

Dougie Hamilton cost about 1 mil on the cap plus i believe they have to resign Seidenberg this year as well as some RFA and if Seidenberg hits the UFA, id love Seidenberg on the Rangers blueline for 13-14 season.

And as ludicrous as that trade proposal is, it can't even happen because Weber can't be traded for a year post an offer sheet.
I agree.
we can overcome his high salary by involving another large salary coming the other way, but we can't do anything about him likely to Redden on us before end of contract.

Flyers get their top 6 LWer for a cond. 4th.
Sather continues to sit on his hands, struck out with Loktionov and now Gagne.

Gagne has been a healthy scratch most of the season. 0 goals. He is a shell of himself.

Gagne!? that's bonkers. An aging, injured, ex-superstar vet is never a good idea..especially with the Rangers.

I'm really not seeing what Gagne could have possibly done for us.

And if he was a decent one with an expiring contract, would he have fetched more than a conditional 4th?

id love if they can snag Henrik Samuelsson from the Yotes... he is on the same team as St.Croix and would add more center ice depth for the future.

what roster player would Dallas take for Ryder?
How do you guys know that Sather didn't try to trade for Ryder and it just wasn't a fit.
The Rangers are fine on the wings. They need a center.

Wayne Gretzky, Adam Oates, Bobby Orr, Brian Leetch, and Bret Hull ALL in their prime, as a unit, would not help this PP.

That's what they said about Gaborik.
That's what they said about Richards
That's what they said about Nash.
At even strength who would Ryder play over on our top 6?
What player on the Rangers would Dallas take for Ryder?
