There's a massive list for the Oilers...

It starts with Pronger, I'm happy we got him and the playoff run yayaya, but the returns got worse and worse each time, check it out:

Pronger for picks, Smid and Lupul
Lupul for Pitnanen who was good for us, but had off ice issues
Pitkanen for Cole honestly he's exactly what we need, but he didn't pull it together right away
Cole for O'Sullivan ugh, WTF, we already had Cogs, Nilsson and Gagner this literally made no sense, the guy is an enigma
O'Sullivan for Vandermeer he sucked, but whatever
Vandermeer for nothing.

Wow.

My instinct is to say the Three Amigos Smurfs Cammalleri-Gomez-Gionta but in retrospect, we don't get to the 2010 Conference finals without them.

I'd say Drury and Gomez, but even though he was overpaid, I still loved Drury, and Gomez got us McDonagh.

Dustin Penner and Jarret Stoll. On the list of things I hate in this world:

San Jose Sharks

BIG GAP

Comcast
Jarret Stoll
Dustin Penner

Just totally ****ing pointless hockey players. Stoll has the IQ of peanut and Penner just doesn't give a **** about this game. If he did, he'd move his feet. But he doesn't.

Jocelyn Thibault, Martin Rucinsky and Andrei Kovalenko...though that's more what was given up to acquire them combined with their middling performances than their performances alone.

I thought he did really nicely in his revival in Calgary actually.

Ollie Jokinen for me.

Without him we'd have Lombardi and Tarasenko and Cammy would've been retained

Getting Bickel costed a minimum salary and Nigel Williams, I don't see how you can be too upset with that. Switch him with Rick Nash and I like your list including intentionally leaving out Drury and Gomez. Both guys did more good than harm for us.
