I'm guessing this was from his fight. He made a mistake letting that guy get back up after he fell down.

This team is the definition of injury plagued.

Man, is McGinn ever tough. He (obviously) ate a solid shot to the face, but jumped right up after the refs separated them. He also shook off two dangerous hits to the head this season. I hope he isn't hiding any c-word symptoms.

He's a tough guy but his style of play and the fighting in general always bear the risk of getting injured.

Reminds me a bit of Bourdon who got concussed during a fight in the AHL years ago.

I guess McGinn won't be able to drop the gloves anytime soon again...

Sucks cause I like him. But as many have said his style of play comes with an increased likelihood of getting.injured.

Are you saying he is the Michael Vick of the NHL?

What a joke this team's medical staff is.

I can't believe they cleared him to return to the game when he had a broken orbital bone.

injuries are inevitable (mostly). by the time other teams start healing up, Chicago will start getting bit by the injury bug .

We aren't that bad off with injuries. Only major losses have been Read and Hartnell. Hartnell wasn't out long and wasn't injured at the same time as Read.

Before anyone says it I don't think an extended loss of our fifth best d in Meszaros and two weeks of a bottom six energy guy count as major losses. If you wanna see bad injury luck look at the Rags and Sens.

Our top line LW generally gets injured every 3-5 games. Hartnell, Simmonds, read. Mcginn was there for a game or two. It's freaking odd.
