Higgins within the French Canadiens clan?

A friend of mine, who also is a friend of Quintal, met Quintal in a Montreal bar, a couple of weeks ago. Quintal invited him to join to three Montreal Canadiens players. There was Bouillon and Dandenault. And who was the third one? Higgins!!! Everybody was talking in french and Higgins was looking them all the evening, drinking and without talking a word...

Funny to hear than Higgins is already a friend of French Canadiens...

That's is really funny. I wonder if he's going to learn how to speak it.

I saw Higgins at Katsura with Komisarek and Ryder.

I think that the entire team is close. Souray said they were all very close and good friends.

Maybe, just maybe, there are no french-english clans and these are a creation of the media to help sell papers?

I think Ryder is highly underrated.

Just like for Higgins, I hope it doesn't matter to us what language you speak on this team.

I think it has less to do with the population of french-speakers than it has to do with the guys he was with actually being on his team all year

But why wouldn't they speak english when he's around? It's like inviting Begin to a Russian bar with Perezhogin, Kovalev, and Markov and nobody speaks english or french to Begin all night

I'd go drinking with Dandy, Q-Ball and The Cube if only to get a really cool nickname.

So 3 guys is a 'clan'

I thought the mythical habs 'clan' status required inclusion of either Ribeiro, Dagenais or Theo

Is there another fanbase of any team from any sport in the world who is more concerned with the off-ice habits of their players more than Hab fans?

Pretty funny. Higgins is in montreal this summer it's great. I'm pretty surprise. I think he really like Montreal and he's a really good teamates. This guys is just a perfect player to have in your team. He can do anything on the ice seems to like the organisation proud to have the CH on his shirt like the city good teamates Great team Pleyer.

I'm happy to have him on the team. I hope he drink a lot cause it's pretty bad to don't even understand anything...

This is definitively a bunch of good guys we have... It doesnt surprise me about Higgins cause the kid will be a Habs for a long time... This is a smart kid with superb attitude, Im sure he will be able to speak french a bit at some point.. I wouldnt be mad if its not the case though.

Well, even if he probably can't speak french, he just as much could understand a bit of it

I remember when he was drafted, that his family always has been Habs fans, so when his name was called at 14th, man was I happy for this kid.

He'll be a proud Hab for years to come, and I'm sure he'll do everything he has to adapt to Montreal
