what I would do with lines:

Hartnell-Giroux-Voracek
Schenn-Briere-Simmonds
Gagne-Couturier-Talbot
Z-Fedotenko-Rinaldo

Here is how Sam C. has the lines without Gagne's presence at the morning skate:

http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/i...d-vs-Caps.html

Quote:
Gagne's return. Simon Gagne was not at Wednesday's morning skate, but he will be in the lineup Wednesday night, replacing the injured Tye McGinn.

Gagne was getting some sleep after taking the red-eye from Los Angeles.

Harry Zolnierczyk will go back in the lineup, and Mike Knuble will be scratched.

Here are the probable lines for Wednesday:

* Hartnell-Giroux-Voracek.

* Briere-Schenn-Simmonds.

* Gagne-Couturier-Zolnierczyk.

* Talbot-Fedotenko-Rinaldo.

Gagne was given No. 12 by Zolnierczyk, who is now wearing No. 37.

Our top 9 minus Knuble and plus Gagne and Read actually looks pretty awesome.

Caps are pretty soft. Play them like we do the Pens.

I hope the crowd is LOUD tonight. I want the fans to be rowdy, hungry and getting this team motivated.

Great stuff by Z to hand #12 to Gagne.

Excited to see what Gagne can bring, if he gets going this forward group will carry us into the playoffs.

If the Flyers are waiting for the fans to get them motivated, we have a bigger problem than I thought

I like it.

If Gagne and Briere were put on the same line, you think they would jump start each other?

The 3rd line has a lot of energy. I like having Couterier and Harry Z together.

I want Talbot still on the 3rd though just because he's Talbot, but what had to be done is done.

Eh talbot can play defensive hockey on the 4th line. Maybe...maybe Harry Z can bring alittle jump. Talbot hasnt done **** offensively so might as well give someone else a try. We cant have a pure shutdown 3rd line. Team doesnt score enough goals with that.

Gagne-Couturier-Read could be a really good line.

Five Questions: Alzner on coaching styles, Flyers fans
What are some of your memories of playing in these rivalry games against the Philadelphia Flyers?

"With us being being close that is one big thing -- you have our fans going up there and their fans coming here. Playing in their building is ... it is one of those places where you don’t tell your family to come because you are worried about what might happen to them in the stands. That alone can get you more antsy, a little more into the game. There’s been so many times where guys are yelling at fans, fans yelling at the guys as we are walking through the tunnel. Just little things like that.

"When you think of hostile environments, you think about walking through that tunnel in Philadelphia. I probably have more memories from the fans than the games themselves, but it is just fun, fun to play a hard team like that."

Could be scary good...especially if Gagne is over his injuries. Maybe it's just me, but I'm thinking Gagne is going to have a big game tonight.

Only game tonight that's even close to a rivalry that's in America.

Next choice would be Montreal v. Torronto, but you can't squeeze American viewership out of that on NBCSports.

Chances seem pretty good they'll be in our division once the realignment is done, so there is potential to have on I guess.
