Glad to see the love for Pateryn here. He should be called up before Tinordi.

Tinordi and Beaulieu?

Don't know much about these two, how are they doing this year and what are their potentials?

The boston bruins board is just outside the door.

I bet you'd be happy if Subban turned into Ray Bourque too.

Chara is a slug, Tinordi is going to be Larry Robinson and break his plus/minus record

If you already knew about that, then no.

Blake's career is over IMO. That injury is way too serious to play hockey again. He needs to think about his health and not about his career right now.

Both are having good rookie seasons. Beaulieu is on the top pairing and at times he can start to take over a game as he has a good mix of skill and physical abilities. He does struggle at times in his own end but uses his speed/skating and offensive skills well. I think he stands a very good chance of being a full time NHLer, the question for me is how much he can improve his defensive play as at worst he could end up as PP specialist or if he can improve enough he could be a top 4 or even top 2D.

I know some like to think he compares to Subban, but I personally don't think he'll be close to that level. That could change as it's still early in his development, but I think he should be a full time NHL as he has a number of interesting qualities, has the physical tools (frame, skating, mobility, foot speed, strength). He will take the body, can drop the gloves, will likely excell on the PP, moves the puck well either by rushing it up ice (which he is good at) or passing it. So there's a lot to like but he does have holes in his defensive game and decision making so hopefully they continue to work with him on that before rushing him to the NHL.

Tinordi is the opposite. He plays a very safe, smart defensive game. Doesn't take risks, is very effective and can be physical at times. Hasn't shown much in the way of offense, and despite several Hab fans wishes, I don't think he should be fighting much as I don't think that's going to be a big part of his game or something he's overly good at. Plus I think once he gets a couple seasons under his belt in the NHL, I think he's going to be too valueable to the team as they will need him on the ice a lot and not spending too much time in the box. His mobility has impressed me as he moves well for such a tall lanky guy which helps him in his own end and he excells on the PK. I fully expect him to see time in the NHL next year, I hope they don't rush him but we sorely need someone like him to bring size and his crease clearing abilities/grit. It's going to be interesting to see how well he translates to the NHL as he should be a lock to be a full timer within a couple years. I think he's going to be a very steady and very useful defensemen for many years.

I haven't heard anything, he's very likely done for the season. Beyond that it's hard to say.

That's for him and his doctors to decide, not you.

Looks like the dogs are about to lose 1-0 (or 2-0 if they score an empty netter)

Yup, Dogs lose 2-0.

This confirms what I've seen them at the beginning of the season:

The article title is "No Subban, Pacioretty, or Desharnais", implying the Bulldogs suck due to a dearth of offensive impact players.

Sort of. You can argue Brendan Gallagher would be on the level those 3 were when they helped Hamilton, but he was promoted to the Canadiens mid season.

I also disagree with the cynicism concerning Tinordi and Beaulieu. He said we'll be lucky if they become top-4 dmen. Give them time... As an example, Tomas Plekanec played 233 games in the AHL. Or, if you prefer, Niklas Kronwall played three full seasons in the SEL after being drafted, and then 102 games in the AHL.

Beaulieu just scored his 2nd of the night on a ridiculous shot. 4-2 Dogs.

I wouldn't be surprised if he got fined for that, he was going off on them all night.
