3 periods, actually. So I guess you could say he's a bust then.

Seems like a foregone conclusion. Daley isn't a certainty to be ready, so they'll need someone.

He's responded to the demotion very well.

Hadn't noticed until now, but good for Tassone that he's playing in the AHL.

Remember though guys, the HFBoards experts say he has no offensive upside.

LE scores on the PP. Texas lets a Monster plant himself and his ass in front of Campbell. Could have been tipped, but Campbell definitely didn't see it.

OH MY!!!

You've got to try and find video of the Hedden goal to make it 4-1. That was all Dowling. He did a spin-o-rama pass to Hedden who roofed it.

Another PP goal for LE. Campbell gave up a rebound you'd like him to not put right in front of the net, but again there's no Texas players around to deal with a lone Monster who scores on the rebound.

It'll be up on the Lake Erie website after the game.

Wandell doesn't score on another breakaway. He's really looking good passing the puck ... shooting .. not so much.

Oleksiak is making a statement. Hopefully when he comes back up here he doesn't play as tentatively.

Oleksiak was amazing in the offensive zone, especially on the powerplay. He

He was a bit casual in his own end and got beat a few times when he should have won a battle or broken up a pass, but it's hard to complain when he was simply amazing on the offensive side of things.

Maybe he needs to get called back up to run the point on the PP. No other Stars d-man can play at the offensive level Oleksiak did tonight.

Slow start, came in to his own after the NHL started back up, surprised us with more offensive skills than anticipated, and now he's out with a mysterious injury. No timetable for return.

The injury could be minor or serious ... I've actually given up trying to find out. We just can't get any information on it.

Ah dam. Look it up a little, seems to be a head injury? Too bad, hate that.

I saw he made some points, fun for him. Do you believe he can be in ur NHL team in 1-2 years ?

Hard to say. Before the season started, I thought he would be ahead of Oleksiak on the depth chart, but that's clearly not the case anymore.

It seems Daley, Dillon, Goligoski, and Oleksiak are the only locks going forward. They obviously like Aaron Rome and Jordie Benn as well. Plus, they still would like to get Philip Larsen going. It will take some time possibly for him to break in, but he's probably at least going to be the #8 next year. I don't think Larsen has a long leash anymore either. GM Joe obviously prefers players with size, and they are locked into Daley and Goligoski right now. I don't want to see it happen, but I don't think Larsen has a long future in Dallas if he doesn't get going soon.

I missed the coaches interview ... but I heard the very end. It was just Willie saying he gave nothing to Jack Campbell, and that he's earned everything he's getting right now.

Campbell is starting over Nilstorp tonight.
