Get mad at Pyatt for crashing the net? Ok bud.

The Kopitar-Brown 2-on-0 was way funnier.

All it really proves is Pyatt shouldn't be on a line with Stepan.

but I agree with what he tried to do.

The puck bounces awkwardly off his stick, and by the time he retrieves it, there's little to shoot at/his teammate in the way... best play is to go behind the net... the goalie fell for it but the pass didn't work out.
This.

You really have to know nothing about hockey to give him a hard time for this play,.

This pretty much is our season in a nutshell. Good scoring chance? Take it behind the net. Have an open shot in the slot? Send it to the guy in the corner.

Are you kidding? At the very least you have to throw it on net, and yes, I've played hockey for a very long time.

He also had Callahan wide ****ing open in front of the net, after regaining control of the puck!

Bad break on the puck bounce i guess, but he choked.

Pass across the crease would have been intercepted. Or at least high risk of that happening. Alls I'm saying is I can see why he hesitated, having had his head down trying to settle down a bouncing puck. We're talking about a fraction of a second here.

If anything I'd give them flak for the bad pass and the bobble.

Frolov has had a few 30 goal seasons on his resume though.
Plenty of wraparounds also...

Agree to disagree.

I think that pass would have made it across pretty easily. He had a good half a second to a second to shoot that across. All it has to do is hit Callahan's stick (or body) and it had a chance of going in.

I'm so pissed he didn't shoot, but even more pissed he didn't pass back to Cally who was wide open.

Would have been nice had that final pass resulted in a goal.

The funniest part is how slowly he glides behind the net.
