Oh no... Would have liked to see Howden up instead. I guess its a positional thing though. Really not much to get excited with TImmins.

Granted Timmins doesn't have the size/speed combo that Howden does, but he is still fast, a really hard worker, and incredibly hockey smart. He's also a true center.

At this point, it's almost as if DT is throwing everything at the wall to see what will stick.

Looks like Dale is going to be giving all our prospects in the AHL this season a chance. Hell maybe someone can pull a Shore.

Tallon is trying to find out if Timmins can stick as a meat and potatoes guy. Timmins is obviously not going to be in the top-six, but he could be a nice bottom-six guy. He's been toiling down there for a while now. I want to see Timmins give 100% effort, win faceoffs, battles and finish checks. Maybe even chip in with a goal or an assist.

Anything less than my expectations then send him back.

That is exactly what his game brings. Not sure how well it will translate at that level, however.

I believe he was up with the Panthers for a while back in 2010-2011.. DT wasn't the GM then, though..

Weiss' grandmother passed away and he will be miss tonight's game to attend her funeral. That explains the Timmins choice.

Didn't notice anything wrong in that caveman's game, haha. Won't mind his next call-up.

As I said in the other thread, I liked his hustle. He took an unfortunate penalty that was just bad luck in the 3rd period.

He skated well and even grabbed a nice turn over at the Pens blue line for a chance in tight. I think he could be a very serviceable 4th line guy in the future.
