Ditto. Not for the same reason, but nonetheless.

There's Kings Live before the game even though this is an NBCSN game?

The Royal Half's gameday preview is particularly funny today. Love the conference alignment suggestions.

Bernier is looking like he is starting....not sure how I feel about that. I think I would have felt better putting Quick in as he is likely looking for redemption.
As for the game broadcast. I am pumped it is on TSN as I do not have to stream.

Johnny B in tonight ?
Love it, Sutter is keeping both tenders on their toes. Don't let these guys get lazy.
March is make or break month for the NHL. Most teams play 15 to 17 games.
That is going to decide some playoff spots.

JB deserves the start after his performance. I hope he will live up to the expectations. This just shows you how much appreciation and trust Sutter has for JB. JB is a talented goaltender

I'm shocked that Mrs. Quick isn't confident in Bernier.

True... but, still. You can't hate me for wanting to see Quick in net against the Wings.
I knew I was going to get crap for that.

Worrying about starting goalies before or after a game should be a thing of the past. Both can get it done, anytime, anyplace.

In other funnies today, Dustin Penner this morning tweeted "The first person to tell/tweet me what makes tonight's game special for me will win 2 free tix to tonight's game. #ITSamiracle"
That was then followed up a little later by this gem

Yeah, I would have gone with Quick just so he could build some momentum and get into a hot streak like he did last year.
Could it be that they're trying to showcase JB?

I immediately thought this when i read on here he was starting. Sutter is notorious for riding his #1 goalie through the season and letting the backups collect dust. It seems like JB has been getting a lot of ice time this season (most of it is deserving of how well he's played) so it makes me wonder if we're trying to raise his value for a a trade before his contract expires. JB has already said he wants to be a #1 and wants to go somewhere where he can be just that so...its not completely insane to think that upper management want to raise his value for a decent return.
It will be a sad day when he goes thats for sure, having been a Kings fan my whole life i cannot remember a time when i had confidence in both goaltenders.

We have a brutal schedule in March 17 games in 31 days. We need both playing well.
