Stone may be limited in terms of contact and skating to get his legs moving, he may just be in Ottawa to take advantage of the training staff, nutritionist, rehab, get back into game shape etc. He's not in the lineup, there's nothing to complain about on the Stone front at this point. Take a breath.

Benoit and Bish will not be coming down, as well as Silfy..

We would get Patty and that's it..presuming Grybes, DD and Grant are here

Really?? Are you serious? With all what's happening to my team I'm suppose to just take it in and 'take a breath'??

Whoa..since when did he get called up? Hey Ottawa, you do know we have a team in Binghamton right??
He didn't get called up; he's injured. It is common practice throughout the league for injured players to join their NHL team for rehab purposes. An official recall is not necessary since he won't be playing any games. An official announcement would be needed if he were to play a game.

Nope..every single injury that has happened in Bingo, they skate on Arena ice when coming back from such injury..

It's a hand injury, why in the world would he need re hab in Ottawa??

We should get Silf, Ziba, Grant, DD, Hoff, Stone all back for playoffs if Ottawa is out of it. Benoit and Bishop aren't coming back. Wiercioch and Gryba should be back down.

we could possibly be in the 6th spot in the conference after this weekend

and the 8th place team is only 10 points behind us.

81 points is my guess at how many we end with.

LOL, last week you said 85. Only a matter of time before that drops below 80!

Well... yes, getting worked up won't help. Don't get me wrong, I feel your pain, but Stone is not playing right now. It's no loss to Binghamton to have him spending time with the Ottawa training/coaching staff.

Better to have him up here training with the Randy than leaving him to his own accord in Bingo.

He is not allowed to practise with the team while on IR but he has full access to the trainers and equipment. No shot against Binghamton, but I am fairly certain that Ottawa would have a better facility.

If Stone steps in I am sure Either Grant or DD will be heading back down.

It probably would be Grant. DD doesn't look like he is going to lose that spot anytime soon and he has been getting better each game.

Wouldn't it make more sense to give Stone a number of games in Bingo before bringing him up to Ottawa to get his game legs back.

This. This is what I thought would happen. I'm ok with Stone going to Ottawa, because that means someone else comes back. But I thought it would make the most sense to easy him into games again.

I thought that would be the case but maybe they have something different in mind. The Senators are lacking on offense though and they need another play maker so maybe Stone gets a shot as soon as he is healthy. I would rather have Stone than Condra as the 2nd line right winger.

MacLean has already broken up that line multiple times over the last few games. Stone is a pretty big improvement over Condra on that line. Condra has a bit of skill but he really is a bottom sixer.

Also the third line is and will continue to be Dizzy-Smith-Neil. That line has been used to shutdown the opposition's top line over the last five games. They have been very effective and will continue to be used in that role.

David Marshall (F)
Binghamton DEL
Released from PTO

Via AHL website...

As I recall T Murray brought him in he went after that Pen who ran over Lawson, & a Bear that went after Scheneider.

I was thinking they might of kept him around, but maybe they could only get him for a few weeks.........................................

Hm, surprised he didn't stick around longer, I liked his game and how he stuck up for his teammates.

#BSens line-up gets much needed boost tonight with the return of Nate Lawson in goal along with Corey Cowick and Mark Stone up front.
