I saw a replay of the hit. It did not look like a 5 minute major but I think the refs are thinking about what happened last time. They simply are trying to avoid having a boxing match break out once again.
if we all thought leaf fans were delusional and insufferable before. now that their idiot coach dresses two and a half goons and Herman Munster on D, it's full on ****ing hell. they suddenly sound exactly like bruins fans. even though we have way more guys who are tough and can actually play hockey. I'd still bring in a goon for Boston and toronto - and I'd bring up Tinordi ASAP and move kaberle and weber to a condominium in hamilton
The Leafs lost every puck battle and spent nearly the entire period hemmed in their own zone. If that's the elusive playoff hockey you speak of, I want none of it.
Well, their unskilled "goon" McLaren scored a playoff style goal while we had to wait for a deflection to beat "god mode" Scrivens. I didn't see any substantial scoring chances from us that period despite the higher number of shots.

Try for that one, the missing like 5-10 hits before... they are losing the game...
True you must be right, not the tsn panel of professionals and half the hab fan base even lol
Yeah, because the real professionals, also known as referees, clearly don't have have the same opinion as me. Please shut up with your condescending attitude. This is a discussion board, not a ****ing playground.
Habs completely outplayed the Leafs in that period. Leafs were chasing the puck which is why they have so may hits. You don't hit when you have the puck. Habs need to keep doing what they're doing AND pop a couple of goals on this PP.
