MB, time to change that mentality of smurfs.
Hope you realize that this is considered a transitional year by the management team. Bergevin will not build you a contender in 4 months.

Have not been watching much of the game. Came home tired from work so I took a nap. So it is business as usual in this game? The Leafs are still gooning it up?

I'd still bring in a goon for Boston and toronto - and I'd bring up Tinordi ASAP and move kaberle and weber to a condominium in hamilton
Very few 6'6 rookie D can adapt to the NHL right away. We should have grabbed McGrattan who would have fought any Leaf on his first shift.

Our smurfs can't get hit that way and come out without getting worn out and injuries.

It may not have been a 5 minute major but very dangerous hit that far from the boards. Dumb play by Brown but I don't expect anything more for Toronto's crew of thugs.

The big piss off about the PP looking bad is that they won't score and encourage the idiots that there is no price to pay for stupidity. I'd love to see them score 3 to start the 2nd.

Emelin can't fight anyone since he has a faceplate or something due to a previous injury.

Last time the team lost their **** after a horrible 1st and tried to act tough, and it only made things worse. This is classic Carlye hockey, you don't want to be pushovers but you don't want to play their game either. The Habs outplayed them hard in the 1st, even the homers on TSN admitted Carlye yelled at his team for how badly they were outplayed.

I'm pretty sure I heard him say it once last year as well when talking about Patches coming back after the hit and have such a good year.

That was the prototype of a predatory hit. Pushed with force from directly behind a vulnerable pkayer into the boards.

That, it's just plain freaking dangerous. I know we are the better team to put the puck in the net in a clean physical/talent contest.

What do you expect from a guy that hits a fan with a shoe? People with Down's Syndrome have a much better understanding of the game.

Given Milbury's history, typical. He probably wouldn't mind doing those hits himself if he had the chance while he played. After all, he's Mr. Shoe Assault...

Alright Kaberle. This is where you can be useful. Help the Habs score on this PP.
