Nonis needs to be proactive and trade Liles before the deadline. In the summer they're be little to no trade market for him.

A decision on Komisarek can be made in the summer.

Gunnarson and Kulemin could be our top trade pieces as they're both due for sizable raises, are very useful players but aren't among the 6-8 pieces for a team to build around just like Brouwer, Versteeg, Ladd and Buff who got moved once they were due for raises.
What has kulemin done to make you think he's due a sizable raise?

I believe Kadri will play hardball, he'll want some love and I can't see why TO would not offer him some. His basis of comparison will be on TO, Bozak and Grabo, who he will I'm certain out score and outplay by a wide margin.
RFA versus UFA

Also, Kadri will have a total of about 100 NHL games under his belt.

Let him earn it.

You know what is funny? With those (two) stupid compliance buyouts, a lot of fans on other teams forums want to buyout their massive contracts and go after Perry and Getzlav. Habs, Rangers, Phili, you name them - all after those two UFAs. I'm thinking that even Van could be in the game for Perry...
I think those two would be overpaid by big margin. 7M quoted here? I think more...

Compliance buyout might be easier utilized by fans on message boards than GMs requesting funds from ownership to make previous investments disappear...

I trust that Nonis is smart enough to trade Kulemin or extend him before he becomes a UFA.

High profile ones do anyway. It's not like Jay McClement came with a huge price tag.
