Fun Fact:

So far this year, teams in the Western Conference have a combined 44 points earned from Overtime Losses (the "loser point"). Comparatively, teams in the Eastern Conference have had far fewer games go into OT, and have only 24 "loser points" in the conference.

With teams not playing out-of-conference games this season, Western Conference teams have generated 20 more points in the standings than Eastern Conference teams have.

- Is the disparity between good teams and bad ones bigger in the East?
- Is the fact that one league scores more goals a factor? The Eastern teams have a combined 806 goals scored for, whereas the West have 747.

Ugh. Worst internet fad ever.

If I had to listen to that every time the Sens scored, I'd be pretty conflicted on whether I should cheer or quietly grumble about it.

Would have helped if the Habs finished on a chance or two.

This.

What's so funny about it? I don't get it at all, and I'm in my 20s.

Habs up 4-2 over the Leafs.

The refs dropped the puck horribly on the 3rd goal. Leafs are piiiiiiiised.

I kinda feel bad for the ref. It seems like his mind went blank for a second and he dropped the puck anyways.

Almost like "Oops forgot to drop the puck *drops it late*" and Bozak thought "oh he wants us to reset".

What makes it worse is the Leafs seem incapable of dealing with set plays once they lose a faceoff (so the bad puckdrop has an immediate and HUGE impact on the game at a bad time - latter half of the 3rd). Second time in recent memory where there's a point shot off a face off win and a guy just goes to the net and scores a goal (Greening, Gallagher).

I mean it happens - unfortunately for this ref the end result was REALLY REALLY bad for one team.

Bozak should have just played though. No point whining to the refs waving ur hands. How many times has that worked to get the ref to do a 'do over'? Nothing pisses me off more then seeing guys stop to whine instead of just playing.

Well, at least we're not the only team who looked bad against the Habs this week. We still came up with a win though.

Habs are impressing the hell outta me. Very likable team except for the coach lol. Therrien's doing something right though!

Gallagher is going to be one of the most hated players by other teams fans and players very very soon. Love the kids intensity. He knows his strengths and his limitations and sticks to his game. Love seeing little guys like him make it.

Bittersweet game for my fantasy team. I have Gallagher and Darharnais, except every time they scored, Kessel and JVR - who are also on my team - got a minus.

At least I got a win from Price. Too bad he faced no shots.

Was it the Leafs fans or Sens fans booing him at SBP? Or both?

Good game for my fantasy team, Pacioretty with 2 goals and Price with the win. Now I am banking on Fasth to win.

Nothing like watching the Leafs **** the bed. Going to be a lot less swaggering leaf fans for a bit. Here's hoping they start their annual slide.
