Prust isn't an offensive player and Gio... well we all know what's going on with him. So surprise Plek isn't put up points.
Ryder and Bourque should play with Plek.
Well, it's hard to complain about Pleks offensive game withh what he's playing against unless you are a certain someone. He's generating a ton of chances, missing some in spectacular fashion but that's always been his style. Scoring is his team effort, there's nobody on this team who is going to turn scrubs into gold like Tavares or Crosby, and there's nothing wrong with that when you have depth.
Leafs are a laughing stock to the nhl. Goons taking runs all night. Hiding behind his goons all night. Great to stick it to them tonight. Hopefully lupul and Reimer are back for next game. All the better, way to go habs. Carlyle is prolly still hard for the hit brown laid, too bad it cost that joke of a team the game. I am done, another whiskey for me and another L for the L eafs

Plekanec is the lynchpin of the forwards anyone who complains about him is out to lunch.. can't imagine where they'd be without him. He doesn't get the glory while the kids run around putting up points. Watch where they'd be without Plekanec. He's the Markov of the forwards. Really smart cerebral player
Read a bit of the Leafs PGT and there's way too much bitterness there for me. I can't be 100% sure but I have a feeling many of them don't like the Habs and their fans. My dislike for the Leafs is way less than their hate for the Habs is.
Despite the loss the Leafs are still a tough team to play against most nights and will probably make the playoffs again this year finally.
The best part was how they came out with only one intention: to turn this game into a street fight, we stuck to playing hockey and we completely dominated them most of the night. It reminded me of us vs the Bruins in 2007-08.
Pacioretty - Desharnais - Gallagher was INCREDIBLE. They could have easily scored 3 more goals.
Pacioretty stepping up BIG TIME after what happened in the last game was great to see.
Yup, it reminded me of the Bruins going right back to the era of the 600 pound line or whatever. We always won because we fought through it and kept playing hockey. Bruins only started beating us after they actually got some skill and talent.
Really proud of the guys tonight especially Prust, who is a ******* warrior.
