I know common thought is that Gostisbehere is at least a couple years away, but I'm betting he makes the team out of camp next year. He's the type of player they need on defense, and with it being Timonen's last year I'm sure they'd like Ghost to be able to get the chance to play with/learn from Kimmo.

After the suspension, Cousins will have 6 games left.
Charles Sarault (2nd in scoring by 1 pt) has 7 games left.

Still a chance for Cousins to bring it home.

You forgot Vincent Trocheck he is third in scoring and i do believe he has more games left then Cousins and Sarault. London plays the sting friday hope Stolie the goalie blanks Sarault to help Cousins.
Vincent Trocheck has 8 gms remaining.

I'd think optimally that Gostisbehere should spend next season with the Phantoms to play regular minutes at the next level. Next season should be Gustafsson's to become a regular on the Flyers blueline and hopefully either Bourdon (if he clears the PCS) or Manning challenge for a spot on the big club, too.

It's pronounced NOR-ris. Remember that for 2016.

At this rate, I think they should let him have another year or two in college...maybe just let him finish. Dude's only 160, he needs to fill out a bit. No need to rush him to the NHL only to see Kunitz or someone destroy him in his first couple games.

Is he really still 160lbs? If so he needs to add like 20lbs. Over a couple years it's very doable but why is he so light to begin with?

haha I wasn't an athlete attempting to play anything proffessionally but I was 6'2" 150 in my Sr. Year of highschool. I just grew a lot taller very quickly and didn't put on very much weight at all. You have to remember these guys are still kids.

He has probablly changed alittle by now. Even in college the team must have told him to put on some muscle weight. He is going to be 20 soon, and I cant see the Flyers not making add ALITTLE weight. He can't add too much cause his shiftyness is part of his game.

I dont want to rush him, but I am now not too opposed if he plays in the AHL next season.

Yeah I kinda understand that but he's still 5'10" and is going on 20. When I was 15 I weighed 185lbs cause I was playing football/hockey and I was shorter then he is as well. I guess it's just hard for some to put on the weight properly.

I think another yr in college followed by a yr in the AHL would be best for him. And I agree I would think he'd be around 170lbs by now but I really don't know.

It really is for some people. I've since grown out of that (horizontally ) but I used to eat anything and everything and really could not put anything on. Lifting doing anything I just could not put weight on. Look at Simmonds the guy looks like a twig yet he's gritty and more then serviceable. If you are smart in this New-NHL I don't think you really NEED the weight to be a solid player.

Anthony Stolarz with another win tonight as London beat Windsor 5-2 Stolarz 2 goals on 23 shot.Stolarz made the right move to leave where he wasn't playing much to go to London it looks like he is #1 there now going into the playoffs.
