Finally! I was wondering if he was back in the doghouse.
Been playing on the second line for a bunch of games, been playing quite good but the line has bad chemistry so he's not getting much to work with. Today he also played on the second PP unit since P.J. Axelsson was sick.
Ever since I've heard of him I have been quite exited to see him play in NA in the Distant/not so distant future, I am on the other hand a little confused with what Euro points to NA points translates into and not being able to watch this guy play, it would be nice to have feedback on that it Would translate to and what he can do on from what other people have seen.

I don't think there's a clear way to translate Collberg's production, I've seen formulas to convert SEL scoring into NHL but it's pretty useless in this context - you have a 19 year old kid playing against men in one of the best leagues in the world, and outside of the best prospects (see Galchenyuk), it's hard to stand out like that.
The SEL is probably the best league in Europe after the KHL. It's not as good as the AHL, but it's different. 8 points in 32 games isn't good by any means, but we are talking an undersized kid who is only really great at scoring goals, which means he needs support.

He's a few years away but I believe he'll eventually make a smooth transition to the NHL. I'm hoping he'll be a key contributor next season and then tearing the league up the season after that, then step straight into the NHL.

That would be wonderful. No habs fans have been wowed by his performance this year. Lets just see what he's able to do next season. Ronnberg is confirmed as Frolunda's coach for next year, correct?
No it's better. I think most SEL teams and a few Allsvenskan teams would be in the top of the AHL standings over a full season.
Well, there's a lot more talent in the SEL. Collberg would easily play on the top 6 in Hamilton (well he would if Lefebvre wasn't the coach at least, considering the current situation he'd be in the press box), though he could struggle for different reasons.

Its not an exact science unfortunately. For collberg it seems that the only thing really holding him back in the SEL is his strength and defensive responsibility... Both things easily fixed through maturity.
