I just want to see peluso get a point. He can drop the mitts too...that wouldn't hurt. but mostly i want him to get a point. I want him to solidify himself on this team.

...and then i will buy his jersey
I'd like to see Tangradi get a point. Doesn't matter what. Then the floodgates will open!!!

Yeah I really see the upside in Tangradi, works really hard and has some smarts but just not getting the lucky bounce and timing has not been a friend yet; a few points will fix everything. That's it, I'm calling 2 points for Tangradi, Joki's Psychic Alliance was channeling this info to me.

He seems to have some nice offensive tools and awareness, but it hasn't clicked yet.

To me he looks like a not quite NHLer along the lines of Jaffray. He has a little bit of upside though. Hopefully he can find a style of play that works in the NHL.

Agree re; Jaffray, I made that comparison yesterday too. I hope, hope, hope Tangradi can produce and find his footing, but I have my serious doubts. Just not sure he's got it. I see an AHL'er who can produce but put him in the NHL and it just doesn't happen.

Well done.

On the sign where it says "One Great City" it should read "6 Goals A Game".

Devils lines tonight:

Henrique-Loktionov-Kovalchuk
Elias-Zajac-Clarkson
Ponikarovski-Gionta-Bernier
Barch-Sestito-Butler

Greene-Larsson
Salvador-Zidlicky
Tallinder-Fayne

Devils really mixed up the lines from the last game, should be interesting to see their response.

He appears to have better offensive instincts than Jaff and he has flashed more in the O zone, but he may well be one of those elite AHL, not quite NHL guys.

If he figures out how to play with the physical edge he brought vs Pit, keeping him around long term would be easier.

Ya, I just hope for his sake he turns whatever he has into some production. Or, as you said, embrace his physical game. Thus far to me he isn't productive or enough of a factor for a top 9 role, on a playoff team anyhow, but he also isn't physical enough to play effectively enough on the fourth line.

I'm not seeing it for him, but we'll see.

Does the city make Feb-28th Ron Hainsey day if he scores?

There really is no "top pair"

Greene-Larsson usually play the most even strength together, while Salvador/Volchenkov play the majority of the penalty kill minutes and the same goes for Zidlicky on the PP.

The Greene-Larsson pairing has been one of our better pairings of late.

I run top-bottom pair by ES TOI in my mind anyways... as all other time is a bit more variable
But ya, that's sweet.
I was hoping Volch would be playing again for us to draw some more interference penalties

I could of sworn I saw Ron Hainsey Day headlines today in the paper and screen capped it cause I was amazed by the announcement. It even said, he'd score six goals!

LOL. Man I am so bored. Can't wait for the game to start.

That pairing has done well for NJ but struggled a bit. Those were the two that Kane squeezed through on Sunday to get his breakaway.

Bro, you did good.

It may be time for a Ron Hainsey themed GDT.
