7 years and 56 million offer from Detroit. I think they would be more interested in Getzlaf, but if Perry hits the market I expect Detroit to come with a big offer. Close to his home, doesn't have to deal with the media problems Toronto brings down.
And now Anaheim is in the "Zach Parise" conundrum where they have to decide if they want to keep him for a cup run or trade him now or at the deadline and get whatever they can for him for the future of the franchise.
I'm guessing they keep him for a cup run as he won't get as much in return as he would have before the season started.
$6.5m and 6 years from the Wings. Anaheim can have their pick of anyone with the exception of the usual suspects.
Come on, Corey, you know you don't want to have to fight Pavel "Iron Fists" Datsyuk again...
If he hits free agency unless he and Getzlaf are a package deal that is crazy low. In fact even as a package deal taking a discount, cannot see either guy under 7.5 million. This is a UFA bidding, go big or go home and that offer isn't big enough for Perry.
