We picked up D Joe Piskula who is on his way to Milwaukee. I know nothing about him, but I assume Weber and Josi are safe. Calgary couldn't claim Kraken off waivers due to the contract limit.
McGrattan served us well in his time here, but the time had simply come where there was no space for him any longer with the Preds. Glad for both parties that they were able to find a partner that had an interest in keeping McGrattan at the NHL level and not see him toil away in the minors again.
Piskula is purely a depth defenseman at the NHL level. This was a move to bolster the Admirals defense and has no implications for the Predators roster.

Piskula is 28 with 10 NHL games under his belt. It was a wash. Mind as well had given us a bag of pucks and some folding chairs for the media to sit in while they wait in between intermissions!
