Every team can use a Corey Perry. I think he'd look great in blue and white.
My bet is he gets shipped to an Eastern Conference team though.
That is probably a bit high, but we will see, guessing New York and Pittsburgh really fight it out for this right and pay a decent price. He is still a rental though.

He is a UFA. What you think doesn't matter.

I say Detroit Red Wings...
Dats will make him 60 goal scorer and Perry will not have to fight Dats again... :-)

So you think the ducks will let him walk? Does he have a no trade clause?

Are you nuts! We're rebuilding and he'd probably walk, giving up 3 great future assets for a rental on a non playoff team?

As was said over and over last year with Parise and Suter the Ducks need to trade this guy. I don't care what the standings say their chances of winning are incredibly small compared to the penalty of losing a player like this for nothing.

No way Anaheim trades Perry right now when they are legitimate cup contenders. He will be moved but I see negotiating rights going before anything else

I have faith that Murray will ship him out if he won't sign. LeBrun sort of confirmed that too.

Not saying he will sign here but the Habs are definitely going to make him an offer, and a generous one at that

I can see him getting 6 year deal with a cap hit of 8.2M$
With the Habs, of course.

I doubt that he's traded for two reasons: the Ducks are currently doing very well and the fact that he's a Newport client.
This will probably be another Parise/Richards deal where he'll surely test the market before signing with anyone.

CHI has over $60M committed for next season. Perry isn't going to Chicago.

He hates the media and is a private guy, I really think Detroit and Buffalo have a big chance on him. I know that some people will think that is because I am a Wings fan, but the organization does fit a lot of what he seems to be interested in. They can get in the high bidding war for him as well, will be interesting to see what happens. Montreal and Toronto have almost no shot if he is as private and anti-media as most people think he is.

Can someone clarify that for me? Did BM speculate or does he have that on good authority? Is there a link?
