It's all alright guys, we may win this game, McGrattan is not playing for the Flames tonight!

We just might have a shot!

I think that is a couple days in a row... good sign and probably means he is about ~10 days from returning.

According to Mike Chambers, Duchene looks like he will be playing tonight!

I'm excited he is back, but I hope it isn't too soon. Groin injuries are always iffy as far as showing up again.

I guess this is our thing, but this was brought up a few games ago, the inside joke "Aves" in the GDT title was funny the first 25 or so times, now its just annoying.

I think if Lahm could skate, I'd sign him. Might be to late though, he's 29.

I don't think he should play. Our next game is Sunday, he should take the days off IMO. But he would know better than me.

It's as close to a must win game Avs will have this year. Win and they are back to .500 and there is a small chance. Lose and the season is done.

I'm not surprised Duchene will play. I hope there is no risk of re-injury but just is about comfort.

It'd be nice not to concede in the first minute.

BTW Elliott is scratched.

The "Barrie"-treatment.

IMO Elliott should replace ROB in the lineup, but I think it might be as much of a factor that SOB actually played really well in the last game.

We're winning this game. Convincingly.

5-1. Parenteau, McGinn, Duchene, McLeod, and Jones with the goals.

I saying 6-1. Stastny with 2g 1a (he always seems to score on the Flames). Duchene with 2a. PAP with 1g 1a. Bordy gets his first NHL goal.

Think what that could do for the Tank!

My guess:

Landeskog - Stastny - Jones
McGinn - Duchene - Parenteau
McLeod - Mitchell - Hejduk
Kobasew - Olver - Bordeleau

Hejda - Barrie
Hunwick - O'Byrne
O'Brien - Zanon

Varlamov

So I "heard" a rumor that Hunwick wants to change his first name from MATT to HERCULES!

I think it makes sense. When you think of 'The Mighty Hercules', who immediately comes to mind?

This guy?

This guy?

This guy?

They got nothing on HERCULES HUNWICK!!!

I wish I could say that I laugh every time I see it but instead I cry whenever I see it.
