I disagree, it was a pretty good period by our offense, just a terrible period by Clemmer.

I disagree. First goal was deflected off Mueller, lucky bounce for Sabres. Second he had no chance on. Third had to be stopped. Team played crappy D.

they make a weak call on us which they could have called the Buffalo player for diving, PP leads to a goal for Buffalo. No call as Huber gets tackled at the 1yd line, killing our chance at sustaining the pressure in the offensive zone. And then they call Kopecky for diving to make up for not calling the dive on the Buffalo player on the first call?

I'd rather dress some cones in stripes and put them out there to ref the game. At least it would be called even then.

Maybe we should put a cone in our net, too.

This is the hockey they've been playing this season. Be it bad defense or goaltending, this team gives up a ton of goals. They just have to keep their foot on the gas and outscore the opposition.

3-2 Buffalo after one. They can do it.

So he had no chance on a goal in which he leaned the wrong way?

its not fair to our players to have these guys in net and markstrom down in the minors... plain and simple... there is no way this will continue for long... and the reffing is starting to get to me too.. i usually dont post i just like to read but the goaltending and reffing is making me lose it lol

Buffalo commentators just said Calgary signed O'Reilly to a qualifying offer and the Avs have 7 days to match?

Ouch! A division foe. That's a tough one for Sherman to swallow I'm sure.

He didn't know where the puck was and had no time to react anyway. it was batted down by Ott, then he saved Vanek's shot (point blank) puck went out to Ennis's stick. He did nothing wrong on that.

The 2nd goal was a bit fluky. They just got the bounces.
The 1st and 3rd goal should have been stopped.

All in all, the team didn't play badly. It was a pretty boring period, honestly. I didn't think Miller was all that great either.

Is Weiss playing? I seriously had to check the box score to see if he was playing. Apparently, he played 6 minutes. I noticed him on one shift in which he made a terrible backhanded pass to Weaver, and after that...invisible.

Stop putting Weiss out there with Mueller, Dineen. Geez, stop rewarding garbage.
