Well, I don't think Visnovsky is exactly that good at defense. Of course you can dangle on the forwards and dmen who are crappy on defense like Visnovsky or Kaberle.

Reminds me of a highlight reel goal Morgan Rielly scored early this year: looked pretty, but when you looked at the D men, they really didn't do anything to stop him so getting around them was easy.
I'm not really talking about that goal in particular. Just his play this season...he's got a bright future. The Isles are booty, but still an impressive goal.

Well, he did that but the dman had position. The most noticeable thing he did was feed the Dman for a point shot while chasing down the puck and falling down after the pass.

Reimer beaten like a rented mule twice. Lucky the first one didn't count.

Just when you think the NHL has found a semblance of sanity Feaster makes an idiotic offer and the repercussions will be around the league. Now the bar has been set at $6.5 million for guys who score 18 goals but have 'potential'. If Burke was still a GM he would challenge Feaster to a fight in a back alley. I don't think some of these guys will ever learn.

so if you give 6.5 next year to a rfa what will happen at the end of the contract? You have to offer at least 6.5? arbitration?

Avs matched the offersheet already. Should've just given him 4.5M per year to start with.

Good.

It is exploitation and immoral that RFAs make less than UFAs for comparable production.

I'm not blaming O'Reilly... I just think it is ludicrous to pay an 18 goal scorer $6.5 million dollars

Corey Crawford mysteriously pulled from game in first intermission. Has to be injury related, but they aren't giving any updates. Weird.

Sens games are such snoozefests..

Lucic gets a penalty for putting his hand on the puck and the Bruins board crumbles with conspiracy talk..
